HEADMASTER

Roles:

  1. Main leader of the school
  2. Responsible for setting the school’s vision, mission, and goals
  3. Acts as the main liaison between the school and external stakeholders

Duties:

  1. Oversee the academic and administrative functions of the school
  2. Develop and implement school policies and procedures
  3. Evaluate the performance of staff
  4. Ensure compliance with educational laws and regulations
  5. Represent the school at official functions and meetings (where suitable, this must occasionally be delegated to deputies)
ASSISTANT HEADMASTER – ACADEMIC

Roles:

  1. In charge of the school’s academic programs
  2. Oversees curriculum development and implementation

Duties:

  1. Supervise teachers and academic staff
  2. Monitor student academic performance
  3. Coordinate with the Principal on academic policies
  4. Organize and oversee internal exams and assessments
  5. Develop and implement academic improvement plans

ASSISTANT HEADMASTER – ADMINISTRATION

Roles:

  1. Responsible for the administrative functions of the school
  2. Manages non-academic staff

Duties:

  1. Oversee school facilities, including maintenance and repairs
  2. Manage school records and databases
  3. Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  5. Assist Headmaster in non-financial budget planning and allocation

ASSISTANT HEADMASTER – DOMESTIC

Roles:

  1. In charge of the domestic aspects of the boarding school
  2. Manages residential life and student well-being

Duties:

  1. Oversee dormitories, dining facilities, and other residential areas
  2. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure student health and well-being
  3. Manage student behavior and discipline in residential areas
  4. Plan and organize extracurricular activities and events
  5. Ensure a safe and secure environment for students
